Abstract
This thesis examines the current state of parking management systems in Algeria, aiming to
develop a comprehensive digital solution for real-time parking management under the name
SmartParking Real-Time Parking Management System. The research provides a thorough study
of existing smart parking systems, identifies the shortcomings of the current situation, including
the lack of digital coordination between stakeholders, excessive reliance on traditional and
manual methods, and weak technical infrastructure, and proposes integrated technical and
operational solutions to address these challenges. The methodology encompasses quantitative and
qualitative data collection and analysis through electronic questionnaires, interviews, and field
observation. Based on the findings, the functional and non-functional system requirements were
defined, and the system architecture was designed using UML diagrams. This was followed by
the implementation and testing of the system, which relies on a mobile application built with
Flutter, an administrative dashboard using React and Vite, and an integrated cloud infrastructure
via Firebase. The study contributes to building a smart and efficient parking ecosystem in the
Algerian market, benefiting drivers, parking operators, and administrative entities alike.
