Fake News Detection

Abstract

In recent years machine learning techniques have shown great results in many fields (such as natural language processing). Among their new applications, researchers started to apply these techniques to fake news detection systems to decide whether this information is fake or real. In our project, we applied one of the machine learning techniques which is natural language processing (NLP) which exactly stemming and vectorization techniques on our dataset based on tweets. Our model showed good results after extensive evaluation and experimental tests using two different ML algorithms.
