Abstract
This work aims to design and develop a comprehensive digital vehicle insurance
application that simplifies insurance operations and improves the user experience, leveraging
modern web and mobile technologies. The proposed system uses a multi-layer architecture
that includes a Flutter mobile app, a React and TypeScript administrative dashboard, a
Node.js and Express.js backend, and a facial verification microservice built with Flask and
DeepFace. The application offers user registration, vehicle registration, insurance policy
subscription, claim submission, document uploading, online payment processing, and real time status tracking. The administrative dashboard allows experts and administrators to
manage policies, review claims, and generate assessment reports. To improve security, the
platform integrates JWT-based authentication and biometric face verification. MongoDB
serves as the primary database, while Socket.io provides real-time notifications and
communication between system components. Functional testing confirmed the successful
operation of all modules, including authentication, policy management, claims processing,
payment integration, notification services, and identity verification. These results
demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed solution and its potential as a modern digital
platform for managing vehicle insurance.
