حملة نابليون بونابرت على مصر بين جدلية الاحتلال والاستكشاف(1798-1801م)

Abstract

تناولت هذه الدراسة الحملة الفرنسية على مصر 1798-1801م, أسبابها, مسارها ومجرياتها, وكيفية تصدي المصريين لها بالقيام بثورات وانتفاضات, ومن أجل ذلك انتهج نابليون بونابرت سياسة سلمية لامتصاص الغضب الشعبي المصري, وبعد أن منيت الحملة بالفشل وعودة نابليون بونابرت إلى فرنسا بالتالي تبخرت أحلامه في إقامة امبراطورية في الشرق, خلفت الحملة آثارا عديدة على المجتمع المصري مست جميع جوانبه. This study deals with the French campaign in Egypt 1798-1801, its causes, its course and its path, and how the Egyptians confronted it by carrying out revolutions and uprisings. For this reason, Napoleon Bonaparte adopted a peaceful policy to absorb the Egyptian popular anger. After the campaign failed and Napoleon Bonaparte returned to France, his dreams of establishing an empire in the East evaporated.
