Geographic Information System for Forest Fire Management with Prediction

Abstract

As part of this academic work, we designed and developed a geographic information system for managing and predicting forest fires. The system's implementation involved several key steps, including collecting and preparing geographic data represented in layers in Shapefile format obtained from the Forestry Department of Bouira Province. These layers were then integrated into a geographic database, processed and analyzed, and finally, a prediction model was developed, trained, and tested according to user needs
