محمد العربي الزبيري مؤرخا دراسة لمؤلفاته في تاريخ الجزائر الحديث

Abstract

تهدف هذه المذكرة إلى دراسة جهود المؤرخ محمد العربي الزبيري ومساهمته في كتابة تاريخ الجزائر الحديث من خلال مؤلفاته وترجماته، فقد تناولنا في البداية مسيرته العلمية والسياق التاريخي والفكري الذي نشأ فيه، ثم تطرقنا إلى مؤلفاته التاريخية البارزة مثل كتاب التجارة الخارجية للشرق الجزائري، وكتاب مدخل إلى تاريخ المغرب العربي الحديث، مبينين المنهج الذي اعتمده في كتاباته والذي يقوم على الدقة والموضوعية والتحليل النقدي للأحداث، كما خصصنا جانبا مهما لدراسة جهوده في الترجمة لاسيما كتاب المرآة وكتاب الرايس حميدو حيث تميز أسلوبه بالتعليق والشروح الدقيقة وتصحيح الأخطاء الواردة في النصوص الأجنبية، وهو ما أضفى قيمة علمية كبيرة على هذه الترجمات، وقد أبرز البحث الدور الذي لعبته أعمال الزبيري في اثراء المكتبة التاريخية الوطنية وفي نفض الغبار عن أحداث تاريخ الجزائر الحديث والرد على المدرسة التاريخية الفرنسية( الكلونيالية) . This memorandum aims to study the efforts of the historian Muhammad al-Arabi al-Zubayri in rewriting the history of modern Algeria through his writings and translations. We initially discussed his academic career and the historical and intellectual context in which he grew up, then we touched on his prominent historical writings such as:The book “Foreign Trade of Eastern Algeria” and the book “Introduction to the History of Modern Maghreb”, explaining the method he adopted in his writings, which is based on accuracy, objectivity, and critical analysis of events. We also devoted an important section to studying his translation efforts, especially the bookThe Mirror and the Book of Rais Hamidou, whose style was distinguished by its precise commentary and explanations, and the correction of errors in foreign texts, which added great scientific value to these translations. The research highlighted the role played by Al-Zubayri’s works in enriching the National Historical Library and expanding the circle of knowledge of modern Algerian history.
