Abstract
This report attempts to address the topic of speechtherapypractice in awarenessclassroomsbyrelyingonfieldworkthroughobservationand the speech therapist’s logbook, as well as interviews with the psychologist,educator,andspeechtherapist.Thesetoolswereused to collect data on a sample of three cases of children with Down syndrome. The goal is to analyze and interpret the data to draw conclusions regarding the role of the speech therapist in awareness classrooms and how they collaborate with other professionals within the institution to improve the children’s communication abilities.
