Abstract

The delivery services sector has experienced significant growth in recent years due to the increasing adoption of digital technologies and geolocation systems, which contributed to improving service speed, accuracy, and communication between different users. This evolution has led to the emergence of smart applications aimed at improving delivery management and providing more flexible and efficient solutions. This thesis focuses on the design and development of a smart delivery application based on real-time geolocation tracking, providing an interactive platform that connects the client, driver, and recipient. The system was developed using modern technologies, mainly React Native for the front-end, Node.js with Express.js for the back-end, PostgreSQL for database management, and OpenStreetMap and OpeRouteService for mapping and route calculation services. The application also provides several important functionalities, such as sending delivery requests, real-time driver tracking, shortest route calculation, request management, and instant notifications, while supporting multilingualism to improve user experience. This work aims to provide an intelligent and efficient system that contributes to improving delivery services and facilitating interaction between the different actors within the system.
