Abstract
This report presents the development of an intelligent library management system aimed
at modernizing traditional library services through the integration of artificial intelligence
technologies and modern web solutions. The project highlights the importance of intelligent
systems in improving resource organization, information accessibility, and user interaction
within academic library environments. It also addresses several limitations found in current
library systems, including dependence on manual operations, limited intelligent services, and
inefficient search mechanisms.
The proposed platform combines traditional library management functionalities with AI powered features such as semantic book search, personalized recommendations, chatbot, and
automatic category suggestion. The system was developed using modern technologies in cluding Next.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Ollama, while the bge-m3 model was used for
semantic embedding generation and recommendation functionalities.
This intelligent library management system aims to provide a more adaptive, efficient,
and user-oriented library environment while demonstrating the practical integration of artifi cial intelligence technologies into modern academic information systems.
