dc.description.abstractAbstract The present research is an attempt to explore the unity and disunity in modern America through historical studies, in addition to that , itsought to answer the question of whether America truly advocated cultural pluralism ,the acceptance of diverse cultures coexisting in spite of the cultural challenges’ and complexity in the US strengthened ,rather than jeopardized America solidarity and if really the United States is united nation through exploring and analyzing it cultural pluralism as culture, religion ,language.. using descriptive method and the qualitative approach .the first chapter tackled entitle cultural pluralism in America emphasis in early immigration through exploring and analyzing it cultural pluralism as culture, religion ,language and how they integrated that led to expose sub-titles . Religion in America society, language and culture. In addition to that ,we will concentrate also in immigration during the revolutionary war and civil war .In the other hand the second chapter we will focus in the target problem which is” the unity and diversity in modern America” in which forced in how immigrants assimilate and integrate in their society. Moreverit explores the challenges to unity in America in 21 century.en_US
