السياسية الخارجية الأمريكية للرئيس ايزنهاور في الوطن العربي " لبنان أنموذجا" (1953م ـ 1961م)

Abstract

يتناول هذا البحث طبيعة العلاقات العربية ـ الأمريكية خلال مرحلة هامة من تاريخ الوطن العربي المعاصر والمتمثلة في عهد الرئيس دوايت إيزنهاور (1953م ـ 1961م). وهي فترة حاسمة شهدت إعادة تشكيل خارطة النفوذ الدولي عقب انحسار نفوذ القوى الاستعمارية التقليدية وتراجعها، وقد برزت المنطقة العربية على مسرح الصراع و التنافس بين المعسكرين الشرقي والغربي نتيجة الأهمية الجغرافية والاقتصادية التي تتميز بها وهو ما دفع الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية لتكثيف تحركاتها السياسية والعسكرية ومخططاتها لفرض مشاريعها الاقتصادية والعسكرية والتي يعتبرها مشروع ايزنهاور أبرزها حيث هدف من خلال مضامينه إلى احتواء المدّ السوفيتي وتكريس سياسة ملء الفراغ الاستراتيجي في المنطقة في إطار الحرب الباردة و وتعتبر لبنان أحد أبرز النماذج التي تجلت بها السياسة الأمريكية الرامية لبسط سيطرتها على المنطقة العربية. الكلمات المفتاحية: العلاقات العربية ـ الأمريكية، مشروع ايزنهاور، سياسة ملئ الفراغ، الاستعمار التقليدي، الحرب الباردة. Abstract: This research examines the nature of Arab-American relations during an important phase of contemporary Arab homeland history, specifically during the era of President Dwight D. Eisenhower (1953–1961). This was a decisive period that witnessed the reshaping of the global sphere of influence following the decline and retreat of traditional colonial powers. The Arab region emerged as an arena of conflict and competition between the Eastern and Western blocs due to its geographic and economic importance. This prompted the United States to intensify its political and military movements, as well as its plans to impose its economic and military projects—the most prominent of which was the Eisenhower Doctrine. Through its provisions, the Doctrine aimed to contain Soviet expansion and establish a policy to fill the strategic vacuum in the region within the context of the Cold War. Lebanon is considered one of the prime examples illustrating this American policy aimed at extending control over the Arab region.
