dc.description.abstractIn our research work, we looked at negotiated dictation in FFE class as a device to improve spelling skills in 5th year primary learners. Our but is to help lerners improve their spelling skills so that they can write without making spelling errors in a writing production situation. This form of dictation privileges spelling learning and not evaluation over traditional dictation. To do this, we opted for the experimental method to analyze orthographic errors of two dictations before and after the negotiated dictation. Indeed, we found that the spelling skills of the learners are improved thanks to the multiple advantages of the negotiated dictationen_US
