Abstract

This report presents a crop disease detection and recommendation system for farmers based on artificial intelligence. The system operates through a mobile application that enables farmers to analyze crop diseases by capturing images or uploading existing photos from their smartphones. By processing the plant’s condition, the system provides a comprehensive description of the plant’s health status, determining whether it is healthy or diseased. In the latter case, farmers can access detailed information about the disease, including its name, symptoms, characteristics, treatment methods, and preventive measures. Additionally, the system offers a library that encompasses various plant species and their associated diseases, aiming to make information more accessible to all users. The project contributes to improving the quality of agricultural products and ensuring food safety for consumers, while also supporting environmental sustainability and the preservation of vegetation cover. The requirements have been fulfilled, and a functional prototype has been developed that can accurately classify plant conditions based on the images received and the system’s database.
