الإسهامات النظرية*لجون ج.ميرشايمر* في تطوير المنظور الواقعي

Abstract

جون ميرشايمر منظر واقعي يصنف نظريته الواقعية الهجومية تحت لواء الواقعية البنيوية أو الواقعية الجديد، لا يقل عمله المشهور "مأساة سياسة القوى العظمى" أهمية مقارنة بكل من هانز مورغنثاو و كينيث والتز. تقدم هذه الدراسة نقاشا واسعا حول المنظور الواقعي كيف تطور من تأسيسه إلى غاية نهاية الحرب الباردة، بالإضافة إلى تقديم مقارنة حول المراحل التي مرّ بها النموذج الواقعي، وعرض أهم الإسهامات التي قدمها ميرشايمر له بتوظيفه للبُعد الجغرافي و محاولة تفسير سلوك القوى العظمى في الماضي و الحاضر، بالإضافة إلى تقديم تنبؤات حول العالم في المستقبل من خلال تفسير الصعود الصيني و كيف أنها ستكون نسخة مكررة للولايات المتحدة الأمريكية. حيث تمّ التوصل إلى أن عمل ميرشايمر يُشكل إضافة مهمة إلى البرادايم الواقعي في حقل العلاقات الدولية، ليس هناك شك في أن مساهمته هي تحسين للواقعية البنيوية وتضيء الطريق نحو النظرية الأكثر اكتمالا التي يمكن أن تفسر بشكل أكثر دقة سلوك كل من الحالة الدفاعية والهجومية. وبالتالي، من المرجح أن يكون عمل ميرشايمر في المرتبة الأولى تطورات مهمة في الواقعية الحديثة. الكلمات المفتاحية: النظرية الواقعية الهجومية، الواقعية البنيوية (الجديدة)، النموذج الواقعي، القوى العظمى، الصعود الصيني، الدفاعية و الهجومية.

Abstract: John.J Mearsheimer is a realist theorist who classifies his offensive realism theory under the banner of structural realism or neorealism. His famous work “The Tragedy of Great Power Politics” is no less important than “Hans Morgenthau” and “Kenneth Waltz”. This study presents a broad discussion of the realist perspective and how it developed from its foundation to the end of the Cold War. In addition to providing a comparison of the stages that the paradigm of realism has gone through, and presenting the most important contribution that Mearsheimer made to it by employing the geographical dimension and trying to explain the behavior of the great powers in the past and the present, in addition to making predictions about the world in the future through the interpretation of the Chinese rise and how it will be a duplicate of the United States of America. It was found that Mearsheimer’s work constitutes an important addition to the realist paradigm in International Relation, there is no doubt that his contribution is to improve structural realism and light the way towards a more complete theoretical that can more accurately explain the behavior of both the defensive and offensive situation. Thus, Mearsheimer’s work is likely to be first and foremost important developments in modern realism.
