Abstract
This project aims to design and develop an integrated online platform called
ServiceConnect to connect customers with local service providers in Algeria, by providing
a secure and user-friendly digital environment that facilitates searching, booking, and
communicating with service providers. The project also seeks to enhance trust between
various parties by adopting evaluation systems, verifying the identity of service providers,
and providing secure electronic payment solutions, which contributes to supporting digital
transformation and revitalizing the local economy by creating new job opportunities and
encouraging micro-enterprises and self-employed professionals to expand their services.
In completing this study, we relied on the descriptive and analytical approach to study
similar platforms and identify the needs of the Algerian market, in addition to the
methodology of designing systems using UML diagrams. The platform was developed based
on PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Bootstrap 5 technologies, with a
responsive design that ensures compatibility with various devices. We found that
ServiceConnect is an effective solution to bridge the gap between customers and service
providers in Algeria, as it provides an integrated booking system, instant chat, secure
payment methods, and flexible service management, which contributes to improving the
quality of digital services and promoting the growth of the national digital economy.
