This report presents the Hope Health project, a web application powered by an intelligent medical chatbot designed to automate the pre-consultation phase. The project aims to save time for both the doctor and the patient by collecting the patient’s symptoms and initial information through a natural conversation, assessing the severity of their condition, and generating a structured report that is presented to the doctor via a dedicated dashboard. The report included complete engineering documentation of the system’s development phases; during the design phase, the C4 model was used to document the software architecture, and the Unified Modeling Language (UML) was employed through use case, sequence, and class diagrams. In the implementation phase, the front-end interfaces were built using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with Tailwind CSS, while the back-end relied on Python and Flask. The Gemini API was integrated to power the medical chatbot and enable it to generate reports automatically. This report presents the “Hope Health” project, a web application and intelligent medical chatbot designed to assist patients and streamline the pre-consultation phase. The project aims to bridge the gap and save time within clinics and medical practices by automating the process of collecting patients’ symptoms and preliminary information and making it available to doctors through dedicated interactive interfaces.
