Abstract

In this study, we aimed to trace the journey of the Mujahid Omar Tabi, known as Al-Hamlawi, who made numerous sacrifices in the struggle for Algeria's independence, and to document the stages of his revolutionary struggle against French colonialism. His revolutionary career was followed from his early involvement in the revolution, through the roles he was assigned during the revolution, up to his important contributions after independence in the construction and development phase. This photographic portrait also highlights key historical moments that Algeria witnessed during the French colonial era, along with live testimonies from the companions of the Mujahid. Through this study, the researcher sought to provide a comprehensive picture of Al-Hamlawi's life, reviewing his sacrifices and contributions during the revolution and in the post-independence era. For this portrait, we followed a methodological plan, starting with an introduction to the chosen journalistic portrait type, followed by the problem formulation that addressed the significant historical events during the liberation revolution.
