Abstract
هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على طبيعة العلاقة بين المساندة الاجتماعية وجودة الحياة لدى أسر الأطفال ذوي متلازمة داون، ، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم الاعتماد على المنهج الوصفي باعتباره الأنسب لوصف الظاهرة المدروسة، كما قمنا بتطبيق مقياس المساندة الاجتماعية ومقياس جودة الحياة على عينة قوامها (50) وليا ، وبعد المعالجة الإحصائية للبيانات أظهرت النتائج أن :
• عدم وجود علاقة ارتباطية بين المساندة الاجتماعية وجودة الحياة لدى أسر الأطفال ذوي متلازمة داون.
• مستوى المسادة الاجتماعية لدى أسر الأطفال ذوي متلازمة داون مرتفع.
• مستوى جودة الحياة لدى أسر الأطفال ذوي متلازمة داون مرتفع.
• عدم وجود فروق في مستوى المسادة الاجتماعية لدى أسر الأطفال ذوي متلازمة داون تبعا لمتغير الجنس.
• عدم وجود فروق في مستوى جودة الحياة لدى أسر الأطفال ذوي متلازمة داون تبعا لمتغير الجنس.
وفقاً لهذه النتائج، أوصت الدراسة بضرورة استمرار وتفعيل برامج الدعم النفسي والاجتماعي الموجهة لأسر أطفال متلازمة داون، والعمل على تصميم برامج إرشادية وتدريبية مستدامة تساهم في الحفاظ على مستويات مرتفعة من جودة الحياة وتخفيف الضغوط الوالدية عنهم.
This study aimed to investigate the nature of the relationship between social support and quality of life among families of children with Down syndrome. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive method was adopted as it is the most appropriate for describing the phenomenon under study. Both the Social Support Scale and the Quality of Life Scale were applied to a sample consisting of (50) parents. Following the statistical treatment of the data, the results showed that:
• There is no correlation between social support and quality of life among families of children with Down syndrome.
• The level of social support among families of children with Down syndrome is high.
• The level of quality of life among families of children with Down syndrome is high.
• There are no differences in the level of social support among families of children with Down syndrome attributable to the gender variable.
• There are no differences in the level of quality of life among families of children with Down syndrome attributable to the gender variable.
Based on these results, the study recommended the necessity of continuing and activating psychological and social support programs directed at families of children with Down syndrome, and working on designing sustainable counseling and training programs that contribute to maintaining high levels of quality of life and alleviating parental stress.
