| dc.description.abstract | In this work, a comprehensive study of the Wilkinson power divider for wireless communication systems is presented. This research aims to analyze, design, and simulate a two-way Wilkinson power divider at multiple operating frequencies: 1.8 GHz, 2.1 GHz, 2.4 GHz, and 5 GHz, using the RF module of MATLAB Simulink. Even-odd mode analysis was employed to derive the theoretical design equations. The circuit performance was evaluated through the key scattering parameters (S11, S21, S31, S23). Simulation results show excellent agreement with theory at the design frequency, achieving good impedance matching, equal power splitting, and high isolation between output ports. The results also show that performance remains acceptable even at 5 GHz, confirming the robustness and effectiveness of this divider for modern practical applications, such as cellular communication standards and wireless local area networks. | |
