dc.description.abstractLinear integral equations (LIEs) play a crucial role in modeling a wide range of phenom ena across different fields such as engineering, biology, and physics. For this purpose, the development of numerical methods has become necessary to find fast and accurate approximate solutions to such equations. In this thesis, we present a numerical approach based on Genocchi polynomials. The process of the method is to transform the LIE into a matrix equation. To illustrate the effectiveness and accuracy of this method, we provide several numerical examples.
