On Legendre Polynomials and Their Applications

Abstract

In this dissertation, we studied the Legendre polynomials and their main properties (Ro drigues’formula, generating function, recurrence relation, Legendre polynomials equation). We have also applied Legendre polynomials in order to solve differential equations using the wavelets method.
