السلطة العليا لشفافية والوقاية من الفساد و مكافحته بين الواقع و المأمول

Abstract

Algeria's efforts to combat corruption have led it to establish an institutional framework tasked with addressing this phenomenon. The High Authority for Transparency, Prevention, and Fight Against Corruption is among the institutions enshrined by the constitutional legislator in the 2020 amendment. This authority enjoys both preventive and oversight functions. However, despite the powers it holds, the reality imposes the necessity of granting it more prerogatives and enhancing more effective, swift, and flexible mechanisms, so that it can more efficiently combat corruption in Algeria—especially in light of the growing prevalence of corruption and the increasing use of more sophisticated methods by perpetrators to conceal their crimes."
