Abstract
This work presents the design and development of a comprehensive mobile application for
monitoring the health and daily activities of infants and toddlers under two years of age,
tailored for Algerian families. The project addresses a real-world problem: parents' difficulty
in systematically tracking their children's daily activities during the first two years of life,
combined with the lack of locally adapted digital solutions that account for cultural and
linguistic specificities.
The application provides an integrated platform for tracking feeding, sleep, growth
measurements, diaper changes, and vaccination schedules according to Algerian national
standards. It also offers a secure direct communication channel between parents and doctors
93
through an instant messaging system. In addition, the application integrates an AI-powered
assistant based on the Gemini model to answer parental questions related to child health and
development, as well as a smart voice recording system that supports data entry in both
Arabic and French.
