The study employed a descriptive-analytical approach. Due to the small size of the study population (154 students), a comprehensive census method was used; (50) students participated in the pilot study, while (104) made up the primary study sample. Two instruments were utilized for data collection: first, the Psychological Adjustment Scale by Ejlal Mohammed Soraya (1986); and second, the Test Anxiety Scale by Sarason (1957). To verify the hypotheses, several statistical treatments were applied, including arithmetic means, standard deviations, simple regression analysis, and the T-test for calculating differences. The study reached the following results: • There is no statistically significant correlation between psychological adjustment and test anxiety. • Third-year secondary school students exhibit a moderate level of psychological adjustment. • The level of test anxiety among third-year secondary school students falls within the moderate range. • There are no statistically significant differences in psychological adjustment attributable to the gender variable. • There are no statistically significant differences in test anxiety attributable to the gender variable.
