Abstract

Our study has tuckled the role of the private sector in the realization of local development with regard to its geographical wide spread. Thus the research brings up to the characteristics that qualify the sector to play an important role in the national economy, the study has been applied as well on the Algerian economy showing out the reality of the private sector in Algeria generally and in the state of M'sila in particular. As a result of our study, we have found that the private sector plays a big role in the realization of the local development goals through the diversity of the national economy; and the augmentation of the economic activity rates; as well as the provision of jobs for local citizens ;and moreover the provision of products that cover the local market. Furthermore, the private sector conributes to enhance competitveness and to improve the rfficiency of local public services
