dc.description.abstractIn this dissertation, we discuss several existence and uniqueness results for solutions to nonlinear partial differential equations of Caputo fractional order, with boundary and initial conditions in a Banach space. We use the Banach contraction principle and the Schauder fixed-point theorem.
