This study aimed to identify the level of psychological adjustment among middle school teachers in selected schools in the city of M'Sila. A descriptive approachwas adopted throughout the study. Due to the small size of the study population, which consisted of (105) male and female teachers, a comprehensive census method was used, with the final sample comprising (88) individuals. Data were collected using the Psychological Adjustment Scale by Ejlal Mohammed Soraya (1986). To verify the hypotheses, appropriate statistical methods were utilized, including arithmetic means, standard deviations, the T-test for differences, and One-Way ANOVA.
The study reached the following results:
- Middle school teachers exhibit a moderate level of psychological adjustment.
- All dimensions of adjustment (Personal, Social, Family, and Emotional) were found to be at a moderate level, with the "Social Adjustment" dimension recording the highest impact on the teacher's personality.
- There are no statistically significant differences in the level of psychological adjustment attributable to the gender variable (male/female).
- There are no statistically significant differences in the level of psychological adjustment attributable to years of professional experience.
